Through a grant from Allstate called Read a Book, Give a Book, 8th grade volunteers were able to read books to K-2 students at Parker Elementary. The 8th graders then signed the books and gave them to the students. Thanks Allstate and Ms. Thomson for giving our students this opportunity!

Congratulations to the 2026-2027 SFJH Cheer Team! There will be a parent and cheerleader meeting in Mrs. Poplin’s room on May 19th @ 4:30 to discuss expectations of the team, fundraising, practice schedule, etc. Go Cougars!

Our food service staff do much more than prepare meals. They greet students with a smile, create a welcoming environment, and serve up consistency and kindness every single day. Their work requires early mornings, long hours, and a deep commitment to the well-being of our children—and it does not go unnoticed.
We are truly grateful for the dedication, patience, and heart our lunch heroes bring to our schools. They play a vital role in supporting not only student health, but also their ability to focus, grow, and succeed.
Anytime you see one of our school lunch heroes, please take a moment to thank them. A kind word or simple gesture can mean so much.
