Back to School Night will be held on Thursday evening from 5:30-7:00. If you have any extra school supplies that you could donate to families in need we will be collecting them during this time. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

CHILD FIND PRESCHOOL SCREENING
Henry’s Fork Elementary will be conducting Preschool Child Find screenings for children 3 to 5 years of age suspected of having a disability and/or developmental delay related to autism, deafness, motor skills, learning, speech, language, cognition, visual or hearing impairment, and/or other disability which may be impacting your child’s typical development.
The screenings will be held between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Monday, August 19th, and Wednesday, August 21st at Henry’s Fork Elementary.
Please call Martha Weatherford at 208-624-7422 to schedule an appointment. Please note that if your child is already enrolled in our preschool program or appears to be functioning and/or developing at a typical rate, they do not need to be screened.

**INSTRUCTIONAL PARAPROFESSIONALS NEEDED* *
Fremont School District has current openings for instructional paraprofessional for the upcoming school year in classrooms across the district beginning in August.
Current openings are at Ashton Elementary, Henry's Fork Elementary, South Fremont Junior High, and North Fremont Jr/Sr High.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, ~27 hours per week.
Starting hourly rate: $13.50.
Please specify your preferred school(s) in your cover letter.

NEW WEBSITE FOR BOARD INFORMATION (7/2/2024). The District is using a new tool for managing meeting agendas and the District Policy Manual. It may be accessed from the website (www.sd215.net) by clicking on "Board of Trustees" in the green bar. A video overview of the site is posted on the news feed.


DRIVE BEFORE YOU APPLY. Have you ever thought about being a bus driver? Stop by the South Fremont High parking lot on June 29th from 9 am to 11 am. You will have a chance to check out a bus and even take it for a test drive around the parking lot. Come see if this would be a good fit for you.
Starting Pay at $17.52 .
We will train you for your Class B CDL, School Bus and passenger endorsement.
Must be 18+ able to pass a D O T physical, background check and drug testing.

There will be no Summer School or Kindergarten Boot Camp offered this year at Henry's Fork.

The Cougar Crew organized a fundraiser and then purchased material to make blankets for families in need. Such an AMAZING and well thought out service project! Way to go Cougar Crew!


If your child is missing any items please check the lost and found. All lost and found items that are not claimed by Thursday, May 23rd will be donated.

NATIONAL CHILD ID PROGRAM. The schools have received a limited supply of National Child ID Program kits. These kits are free to parents/guardians. Each kit contains an inkless fingerprint kit, a medical info section, a DNS section, and an applicator to help collect personal information for your child. These documents are to be stored at home by the parents/guardians to be used in an emergency. If ever needed, you can provide this information to authorities to help reunite a missing child with your family. Contact your local school to request a kit.


Next week, the Cougar Crew will be doing a fundraiser. The money raised will be used to purchase material so that Cougar Crew can make blankets for families in need. Please see the attached flyers for more information.
